Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami

We arrived at the hotel with a lot of luggage. There were 2 hotel employees standing outside at the valet stand and neither one greeted us or offered any help with the luggage. Not a big deal but a sign of the type of service we could expect. When we got to the room it looked nice and the water view was beautiful. But then we found the remote was sticky. The floor was sticky. Water pressure terrible. Paper thin walls. Room next door had at least 10 people having an extremely loud party. We called downstairs, they said they’d call security, but we were kept awake until around 2:30 because of the noise. In the morning we were trying to leave but our car was blocked in for 15 min because the valet left 2 cars blocking the only exit.

This Hyatt property is located in the downtown Brickell district with access to a rooftop pool, gym and social rooms for guests. The hotel is very clean and tastefully updated. The restaurant is a Cuban themed scene with a Bar. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beds were super comfy. The staff were very pleasant, professional and accommodating. Kenny, at the World of Hyatt desk took great care of all of our needs. Prior to arriving I had a couple questions and I was able to ask through text message which was super convenient. I will absolutely be coming back on my next trip to Miami.

I usually never write reviews but I can’t help it, German (hotel manager) was so nice and made us felt so welcome that I would feel guilty not letting the world know how awesome he is. When my friend & I first checked into the room, there was a strange smell but German reached out to us personally on the exact day we sent our concerns and fix it in real time. Not only did he kept following up to make sure everything was okay, he also went out of his way to help me book a dinner reservation when I did not know where to dine on my own. I honestly believe we need a German in every single hotel. He would be the only reason I ever come back to this hotel, maybe even the only reason I come back to Miami period! Hyatt should be lucky and honored to have someone like German manage their hotel. Nonetheless, the hotel is really clean and the view is great. Downstairs has a nice market where you can purchase beverages, fresh coffee, fresh food, even ice cream! The customer service, once again is 10 stars haha. I thought I should just restate that 😅

The check-in lobby and valet areas are small. Parking is valet only ($40/day). There is no on-site self parking. Over the course of my 3-day stay, the valet was a little slow to respond and retrieve cars. The room was well kept and towels were replenished daily. I had a nice view of the water. We held a business event in their rooftop area. You have a view of the water and downtown Brickell buildings. The staff were all kind and friendly during that event and the tapas were tasty.
